Ah bom!
Assim acabam-se-me as dúvidas e fico mais descansada :)

well darling, Fanny is a fool! ;) yeah yeah, Paris is nice. [i like it too especially if i have -in front of me- a bottle of wine, some good bread and a big chunk of exquisite foie gras. otherwise i much prefer to sit on the sands somewhere in Pinhal de Leira soaking up some rays staring at the horizon contemplating the universe or preferably nothing at all, and have my amêijoas à Bulhão Pato before sundown :) okay okay, whatever. in short, some of us choose to enjoy the little things in life, which is so fleeting, therefore no time to suffer. /wishful thinking]

cheers darling,

F.

Jesse: Life's hard. It's supposed to be. If we didn't suffer, we'd never learn anything.

Celine: Memory's a wonderful thing if you don't have to deal with the past.

i meant Bob, not Fanny! and btw, would you be dancing to Marcia Baila if you were to hear it now?

"Bjs",

F. [again]

Complicado? Pois é, eu também sou.lololol.bjs

Acabaram-se-te as dúvidas, és uma pessoa feliz. ;

Porquinho feliz,

Paris is a wonderful town indeed. As for the Pinhal de Leiria I'll leave it for SK to comment. :)

Bob isn't a fool for loving Fanny, he just wants to prove he's still in love with her. And so does Fanny. The story has an happy ending, doesn't it?

By the way, funny you mentioned Marcia Baila because I was listening to it, but I deciced for Andy instead. This song has a special meaning for me - it reminds me of my good times living in France (Lyon and Paris). Besides, I met Les Rita Mitsouko (Catherine Ringer and Fred Chichin) in the street one day I was waiting for a friend at the Champs Elisées. It's was fantastic - they were my favourite French band at the time, they still are. :)

Saudades.

Wind,

Well… The smooth and warm sands and the intense smell of pines and sea breeze… it’s magnificent, poetry.
Well, I can not say that I would rather be on the Pinhal de Leiria than in Paris… but I wouldn’t trade this for almost anything in the world, including Paris (maybe some days).
You just have to live this for a while to fell e tell the difference. As it is important to fell Paris… I have to go to Paris and them I will tell you my opinion :)

SK,

wot....you haven't been to Pinhal de Leira?! *gasp* shame on you, Senhora Lisboeta! :) how about Rio de Onor? next christmas i'll be sitting on the sands in in Pinhal under several layers of woolies and thinking of you then...haha. i do like Paris, i do like France, French wines, French food, French women, French accent, French wines, French food, French women, French music, all things French to be precise....[am i being repetitive?] however....once i've had a taste of Portugal/Portuguese i find i want nothing else! LOL... [luckily nobody here can see my crimson face as we speak]. and you know what, i had Budapest on my mind... until i discovered Portugal and everything in it. now now...who can i blame for that? :D

luv,

F.

Jesse & Celine foreverrrrrrr -the only happy ending i would like to see-
--------------------------------

dear SalsolaKali:

Well… The smooth and warm sands and the intense smell of pines and sea breeze…

[whistle] :) that's a very nice image you paint with words there. i have to say i still prefer Pinhal de Leira over Paris. the problem with people is, including me, they tend to dream about far away places. but actually paradise is very nearby if we care to discover it. i've been to a few places far and near but doesn't matter where i go it's the simplest things [which usually cost nothing, or hardly anything worth mentioning] that capture my heart. it's like a camera lens, the photo expresses what the photographer sees. the beauty is seen through her/his eyes even if others don't agree [probably because they can't feel it].

Portugal. sempre Portugal. :)

[senhora Always, please translate the text? thanks, darling. i'm watching the new lousy episode of L Word sorry i have to stop short here.]

porquinho feliz, aka senhora f.

My thoughts exactly.
Paradise is nearby… the simplest things… oh, the simplest things, and when you can just realise de importance of simple things, and enjoy it...:)

Well this region as some magical places, special places, deep in to the forest. You just have to explore it, on Christmas or in another time… :)
I do prefer these nest months to do it, from March until June…
And April. April is a very special month, because it is when the pine flowers appear… and Urzes (Erica sp. ) and all sorts of savage flowers, an explosion of colours. An amazing experience.

About France and French things…
I pass the food, ok?!
;p
Kissess

Always disse...

Porquinho feliz,

Never been to Pinhal de Leiria or Rio de Onor, sorry. I've been to busy travelling everywhere in Europe. Shame on me, I know... Soon, I'll have the chance to discover the joys of Pinhal de Leiria you've been talking about. :)

I'll love a lot of French things, the list is huge, except for the French people - I have to say I'm not to crazy about the French - they're too chauvinist for my taste.

Hey, you still don't know how Jesse & Celine story ends up. There's still a third film to complete the triology, so we'll have to wait to find out what will happen to them at sunset in ten years from now. We've seen them 'before sunrise', ten years later 'before sunset', and the story continues ten years after 'at dusk', as far as I know.

Saudades. :)

SK,

the next installment would be set in Pinhal de Leiria then. "midnight sun in Pinhal"? lol...we don't want to see a deadline anymore. it's torturous enough all these years, don't you think. what's wrong with me...i want to see Jesse and Celine together happy ever after. i'll be watching with my bicas and a plate of bolinhos de Berlim, please the kind with nata inside! :) F.

ps A.: re French things: here the Dutch people say they love Germany, but without the German in it! :) same difference.

Always disse...

Somehow, I don't see Jesse & Celine under a midnight sun in Pinheiro de Leiria. They are city people. After Vienna and Paris, I think Lisbon would give a nice set, or maybe Stockholm - I picture them in old and narrow streets at Gamla Stan.
Speaking of it, I'm returning to Stockholm next October. It will be great to be back in town after my fantastic holidays there last September. Besides, I forgot to buy this fabulous leather wallet I fell in love with when I spotted it in a well known scandinavic leather items shop, and I must absolutely have it. :)

Beijos.

PS - You mean Bolas de Berlim, lol - I love it too!
